Those questions sparked from what has now duly been recognized as “YTOP GLOBAL”. It is a movement that began a few years ago with ordinary fun activities which has now grown into a platform and system that shapes naive teenagers and youths in becoming extraordinary leaders. Those that truly desires the wing and capacity to fly.
YTOP which is coiled from the words “Young, Talented, Optimistic and full of Potentials” is recognized as more than just an organization; her genesis is that of possibilities. She embodies the energy, and creativity of young people by showing how a life can inspire change from a local community to the global stage.
Her Beginnings
YTOP Global did not begin with much resources, influence, or grand promises. Rather, it all started with a vision by a young man and a small gathering of like minded individuals who believed that change must start with them. In those early days, YTOP was particular about creating an avenue where youths could learn, dream, and be challenged to grow into the best version of themselves as far as they can dare to sit up.
There’s nothing stopping you from joining this mission, to become a champion Global Leader on the world stage.
YTOP Global mission was to empower young people to take responsibility for their own future and become leaders in their spheres of life endeavours.
Of course, there were challenges like limited support, and the daunting task of convincing others to believe in the vision. But those obstacles became fuel. They built the pillar that eventually strengthened organization bridge.
The Turning Point
This was in the realisation that leadership could not be confined to the four walls of the classroom or places of worship only.
She became aware of the challenges confronting young people like the few opportunities they get, little access to mentorship, and a lack of platform where they can freely express their concerns.
Breaking New Ground
Partnerships were built with organizations that shared a vision of equipping the next generation of leaders through conferences held and leadership forums that attracts aspiring leaders or youths we are committed to changing the world.
The YTOP programs grew into numerous mentorship sessions, leadership trainings, advocacy campaigns, school outreaches and youth-driven projects, addressing issues like education, community development, and leadership responsibilities.
