The Sustainable Development goals, Targets and Indicators In order to ensure proper planning towards the achievement of the SDGs, there are 169 targets which will help in directing actions and measuring success. Quality education is the focus of Sustainable Development Goal 4, with a mission statement, "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all".
