Two years ago, our journey with persons with disabilities (PWDs) began—and behind every milestone are the dedicated efforts of our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and faculty members whose contributions have made a lasting impact.
Since 2023, YTOP Global have been committed to supporting, including, and celebrating PWDs in all we do—inviting them to our programmes, providing scholarships, and donating to their schools,” he said.
So far, we have reached schools of special needs in Ile-Ife, Osogbo, Lagos, and Uyo, offering relief items, scholarships, skill training, and dignity to the students.

It has been a solid 8 years of RISE: Resilience, Impact, Service, and Elevation!! YTOP Global’s 8th-year anniversary was marked at the St. Philip’s School for Children with Special Needs in Iloro, Ile-Ife.
To celebrate this milestone, we set out to make provisions for the children with special needs school, gifting them key items like mattresses, beddings, and food materials to support them, demonstrating how personal milestones can be transformed into meaningful acts of service. The initiative, which gained wide media attention, saw the donation of items, including 100 bedding materials, 30 quality mattresses, and essential food and hygiene supplies.

Celebration of Inclusion and Service
Multiple reputable media houses, including Punch, BusinessDay, The Sun, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and Amiloaded, covered the story to bring public focus and government intervention to address the critical needs of the schools with special needs by providing essentials that improve the comfort, hygiene, and overall learning environment of the students.

Ekundayo Oluwadamilare, the founder of YTOP Global, emphasized how the outreach aligns with our mission of youth development, community service, and advocacy for education. In his words:,
“Our vision is fully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. YTOP Global was created not just as an organization but as a movement—a safe space and springboard for emerging change-makers.”
Highlights from the Outreach
While the donated items remain a significant aspect of the outreach, YTOP Global uses this moment to call for increased individual support, government intervention, and organizational assistance for special needs schools across Osun and the nation at large.

Persons with Disabilities are not to be sidelined—they are individuals with unique potentials who deserve specialized care, intentional inclusion, and sustainable support from both public and private sectors. This is not just about charity—it’s about restoring dignity, creating belonging, and giving every child the chance to thrive, regardless of ability.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our partners, sponsors, volunteers, faculty members, and team who have been instrumental in advancing this mission.
